Billy Elliot the Musical – Screening 5th October 2014 – 1 show only!

Billy Elliot the Musical       is set to bring cinema goers to their feet when the global stage phenomenon is broadcast from London’s West End to cinemas across Australia for the very first time. The special London performance will be filmed live on September 28 and screened in Australian cinemas nationwide on Sunday October 5th for one session only.

Twenty-seven former and current Billy Elliot’s will unite on stage in a specially choreographed mash-up finale when Billy Elliot the Musical is screened to cinema’s around the world.

Felony is an exciting all Australian production, written and produced by Joel Edgerton, who also stars in the movie. Directed by Australian, Matthew Saville (Noise, Cloudstreet). Also starring Australians, Jai Courtney (Divergent, I, Frankenstein) and Melissa George. Tom Wilkinson’s performance is brilliant.  It was screened in the Special Presentation section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.^[2]

Three detectives become embroiled in a tense struggle after a tragic accident that leaves a child in critical condition. One is guilty of a crime; one will try to cover it up, and the other attempts to expose it. How far will these men go to disguise and unravel the truth? (Margaret 4 Stars, David 3 ½ Stars)
